Here at New Forest Sawmill, we locally source and stock timbers such as Douglas fir, Western red cedar and English oak from around the New Forest.
We cut custom timber to order and offer premium products with a quick turnaround, great communication and a friendly service.
We supply customers regularly with a range of cladding, posts, beams and sleepers. We also offer delivery to make your life easier – saving you time and money arranging for transportation!
Timber Cladding
We offer a range of cladding from standard straight edge for a contemporary feel to waney edge cladding for that classic ‘rustic’ look. Our standard width and thickness for this is 200mm x 19mm.
We also offer profiles such as TGV and Shadow Gap if you require something a bit more fancy. This comes finished in our standard sizes of either 145mm x 21mm or 95mm x 21mm.
Posts, beams & sleepers
Supplying timbers such as Douglas fir, Western red cedar and English oak, we can cut customer posts, beams and sleepers to ANY size.
Our timber is supplied rough sawn. However, our sawmill is not like other Industrial sawmills and naturally provides a fairly smooth finish, even though the technical term is ‘rough sawn’.
