Our Ash slabs display a beautiful grain pattern, similar to White Oak in texture, grain, and weight. Perfect for crafting live-edge desks, custom tables, and kitchen island tops, adding a unique sense of earthy charm.  

With a straight, even grain and medium to coarse texture, Ash offers excellent workability. It machines, routs, and finishes with ease, and can be glued, stained, or polished to suit a range of styles. Due to its open grain, a filler may be required to achieve a smooth, glass-like finish.

Heavy, strong, and shock-resistant, Ash is also flexible and resistant to splitting, making it an ideal choice for high-use areas that need to withstand daily wear and tear without splintering.
