Cedrus atlantica

A member of the pine family (Pinaceae), Atlas Cedar belongs to the Cedrus genus, alongside Cedar of Lebanon and Deodar Cedar. Originally native to the Western Himalayas and regions around the Mediterranean, it is now cultivated worldwide.

These slabs feature warm, golden-brown heartwood with pale sapwood and a straight, uniform grain. Lightweight yet durable, Atlas Cedar is a pleasure to work with – shaping, planing, and finishing beautifully.

Rich in natural oils, it resists decay, pests, and moisture, making it a dependable timber for outdoor furniture and exterior joinery.
