These unique Spalted Beech slabs are a pale, fine-grained hardwood, enhanced by naturally occurring dark lines and patterns formed during the spalting process, with soft cream and honey tones contrasted by expressive markings.

This hardwood has a smooth, even texture and subtle grain. While not naturally durable, it is mechanically strong. Keep in mind that Beech can experience moisture movement, so allow for natural expansion and contraction when planning your project.
