These exquisite, large oak slabs are stylish and decorative, with plenty of pip and burr. Perfect for statement furniture, large tabletops, river tables, bar tops, veneers, and many more!

The heartwood is very durable, resistant to decay and insects. Texture is medium to fine, with very irregular, highly figured grain from burls, knots, and curls. Workability varies by piece, but all forms of Oak, sand, glue and polish well. Note that Burr also has a high tannin content, so finishes should be chosen carefully.

These slabs have great shape, with very characterful waney edges, ensuring no two pieces are alike — each slab truly tells its own story.
