Douglas Fir 3265 – 3275

Price per slab: £355 inc VAT

Pseudotsuga menziesii

Douglas Fir is a well-known timber species and one of the most important utility woods, widely used for both indoors and outdoors. It features a warm reddish-brown hue with a straight grain pattern, which gives Douglas fir wood a high aesthetic value.

Naturally durable, moderately heavy and stable, it is one of the hardest commercially available softwoods, making it suitable for both structural and decorative woodworking. Although treatability can be a bit tricky, it can handle heavy-duty framing, groundworks, cladding and landscaping.

This timber can maintain its beauty and integrity for many years, providing a sturdy, high-quality and visually appealing choice for any space.
